Every week, Best Debates brings you a handpicked Top 10 of the most engaging political, social, and educational debates on YouTube, along with a dose of humour to balance things out.
With so much content online, finding debates worth your time can be hard. We do the searching for you, choosing videos that inform, provoke thought, and present different sides of an issue, so you can stay on top of current events without the endless scrolling.
Our aim is simple: to help you watch smarter, think independently, and join the conversation better informed.
Our Journey Begins
Best Debates began with a simple frustration: the most-watched videos are not always the most worthwhile. Trending lists reward clicks, outrage, and catchy thumbnails, while thoughtful debates with strong arguments often go unnoticed.
So we decided to do things differently. Every video we feature is chosen for what it offers the viewer: the quality of its arguments, the credibility of its speakers, the balance of its perspectives, and its ability to make you think. View counts don't decide our list; substance does.
Since then, our collection has grown across politics, society, education, and humour, but our standard has stayed the same. We would rather show you ten videos worth your time than a hundred that aren't.
